Robert M. Stanton, Jr. is an Of Counsel in the firm's Boston office. His practice focuses on civil litigation defense, including the representation of businesses and individuals in disputes involving premises liability, product liability, toxic and environmental tort litigation, trucking and transportation and personal injury. Mr. Stanton has successfully represented clients in the courts of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Mr. Stanton was a civil litigation associate with a regional litigation firm, representing businesses and individuals in a variety of matters in the courts of Massachusetts and Connecticut. Mr. Stanton also has experience representing clients during mediations and arbitrations in those jurisdictions.
Mr. Stanton earned his B.A. in History from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, Robert was a member of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review and completed internship with the Plymoth County District Attorney's Office, representing the Commonwealth in numerous evidentiary hearings in the Massachusetts District Courts
