Ifeanyi Ezeigbo is an Of Counsel in the Firm’s Annapolis office. Mr. Ezeigbo’s practice includes representing clients in matters involving premises liability, railroad/Federal Employers’ Liability Act defense, landlord and tenant issues, and medical malpractice. Mr. Ezeigbo is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Mr. Ezeigbo was a litigation associate at a mid-sized regional law firm with his practice focused on toxic torts defense, insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Ezeigbo served as a judicial law clerk on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
Mr. Ezeigbo received his Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law, where he served as Publications Editor for the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law. While in law school, Mr. Ezeigbo published his article, “The Questionable Constitutionality of Mechanical Restraints in the Classroom: A Critique of the Tenth Circuit’s Decision in Ebonie S. v. Pueblo School District No. 60” in one of the journal’s volumes.
Mr. Ezeigbo received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, where he majored in Economics and Spanish Literature. He is a fluent Spanish speaker.
Mr. Ezeigbo is a member of the Bar Association for Baltimore City. As a member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, he serves as an active member of the Young Lawyers’ Division and of the Communications and News Journal Committee.
Mr. Ezeigbo was named to the Top 40 Under 40 in Maryland by The National Black Lawyers Top 100 for 2020.
