Bryant Cannon is an associate in Kiernan and Trebach’s Annapolis office where he focuses his practice on civil litigation. He has represented clients in labor and employment litigation, general liability litigation, defense of commercial and residential property owners, and professional liability.
Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Mr. Cannon practiced law as an associate attorney at two boutique employment law firms. There, he represented clients in a range of employment and civil matters, including retaliation, race/gender/age discrimination, wage payment and collection cases, and education law disputes. His practice allowed him to represent both plaintiffs and defendants before multiple government agencies and trial courts in both South Carolina and Maryland.
Mr. Cannon is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. He is a graduate of Winthrop University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminology. Mr. Cannon received his Juris Doctorate degree from Charleston School of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Cannon was named a Presidential Scholar, served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Law Review Journal, and was a Student Ambassador. Mr. Cannon's leadership, professionalism, and academic achievement helped him get inducted into two organizations while in law school: (1) The James L. Petigru American Inn of Court, a law institute established in 1985 and chartered at the Charleston School of Law in 2009 and (2) The Forensic Club, a law institute established in 1825 and chartered at the Charleston School of Law in 2003. After graduating cum laude from the Charleston School of Law in 2019, Mr. Cannon served as Law Clerk to The Honorable Circuit Court Judge Daniel D. Hall in York, South Carolina.
