Andrew Bassan is a defense litigation attorney with the firm's Washington D.C. office. His practice areas include a wide array of matters in general liability, including premises liability, construction and construction defect, worker's compensation, product liability, and general insurance defense. Mr. Bassan represents national and local retailers and manufacturers, building owners and management companies, and construction companies. As a member of the state bars of Washington D.C., Maryland, New York, and Wisconsin, Mr. Bassan has litigated matters in several jurisdictions and has strongly and diligently advocated for his clients before multiple judges in various courts. Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Mr. Bassan spent three years in New York City working as an associate at a large insurance defense firm.
Mr. Bassan graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2013, where he served as vice president of Mock Trial and secretary of the Jewish Law Student Association. While in law school, Mr. Bassan was selected to participate in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Moot in Hong Kong, where he and his team earned multiple awards for their oral advocacy and briefing on a complex international manufacturing matter.
Mr. Bassan graduated from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2010, earning a B.S. in marketing.
