Sam is an Associate in the firm’s District of Columbia office. Sam focuses his practice on defending clients in a wide array of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to premises liability, medical malpractice, and trucking accidents. Prior to joining the firm, Sam was a plaintiff’s attorney handling Medical Malpractice and other catastrophic injury matters throughout the Washington, D.C., and Baltimore areas.

From 2015 to 2017, Sam served as a Law Clerk to Judge William S. Greenberg of the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Prior to moving to Washington, D.C., Sam was a litigator in New York City, handling personal injury, civil rights, insurance coverage, and criminal defense matters.

Prior to law school, Sam was a paralegal for a plaintiffs-side boutique litigation firm in New York City that prosecuted securities fraud, antitrust, and healthcare fraud class actions on behalf of labor unions and municipalities.

Sam was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his wife and two children.

  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a hospital in the Superior Court for the District of Columbia on the issue of apparent agency.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a national hotel chain in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City in a premises liability action.
  • Obtained dismissal of a negligent entrustment and credentialing action on behalf of a Maryland hospital.
