Experience

Yacine is an Associate based in the firm’s Long Island Office. She represents clients ranging from individuals, healthcare facilities, non-profit organizations, municipalities and businesses in matters involving automobile and transportation claims, work-related incidents, slip and falls, and labor law.

Prior to joining the firm, and while attending law school part-time, Yacine worked full time as a paralegal for a litigation defense firm, where she gained extensive experience in litigating general liability matters.

She also previously worked as a paralegal for a criminal defense attorney.

In law school, Yacine was a member of the Criminal Defense Clinic, where she learned the methodologies of the criminal justice system and spent a year working directly with the incarcerated to prepare a clemency application which was recently granted by the Governor of New York in 2022.

Yacine is proficient in French and knowledgeable in Spanish.
