Katherine is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office, working in civil defense litigation.
Katherine is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. She earned her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and her B.A. from Saint Francis Xavier University. Before starting at Kiernan Trebach, Katherine was a judicial law clerk for Judge Juliet McKenna at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, where she worked on civil matters involving contract disputes, employment law, and landlord-tenant issues, as well as domestic violence cases. She has also been published in the Federal Communications Law Journal for her note, A Star is Born: Lack of Income Rights for Entertainment’s Newest Stars, “KidTubers.”
While earning her J.D., Katherine worked at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts, where she served as first chair in multiple bench and jury trials, and argued evidentiary motions in the Concord District Court. Additionally, she worked as an evidence law teaching assistant and an Inns of Court student advisor.
Originally from Ipswich, Massachusetts, Katherine now resides in Washington, D.C. with her fiancée. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants in the District, going on walks, and playing chess.
