Experience

Jillian is an experienced litigator, and focuses her practice on both workers’ compensation defense and general liability defense matters throughout Virginia.

A proud double spider, Jillian graduated from the University of Richmond with her Bachelor of Arts in 2012, double-majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice. While an undergraduate, Jillian was a member of Division I Swimming & Diving Team, contributing to 3 team Atlantic-10 Conference Championships and finishing her career with 6 conference championship medals. Jillian returned to the University of Richmond for law school, where she participated on the Trial Advocacy Board, serving as an executive board member and competing on behalf of the Board at regional and national trial advocacy competitions. She was also a manuscripts editor for the Richmond Journal of Law & Technology.

After law school, Jillian served as a judicial law clerk for the judges of the Circuit Court of Henrico County. At the end of her clerkship, she went on to practice in a variety of substantive areas of law, with primary focuses on workers’ compensation defense, as well as general liability defense and medical malpractice defense. Jillian has briefed and argued several appeals before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission and the Court of Appeals of Virginia.
