What You Will Do

As a Civil Litigation Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including:

• Ordering, tracking, and organizing medical records
• Scheduling IMEs and coordinating expert retention
• Conducting docket searches and legal research
• Gathering and managing discovery materials (records, authorizations, social media, etc.)
• Preparing and organizing materials for attorneys, experts, and witnesses
• Assisting with trial preparation
• Maintaining and organizing files within document management systems
• Supporting general administrative and case management functions

Qualifications

Entry-Level (2–3 Years)

• 2+ years of paralegal experience
• Litigation experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Mid-Level (3–5+ Years)

• 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience
• Experience obtaining medical records and preparing chronologies
• Familiarity with discovery processes and litigation workflows
• Experience with tools such as Lexis Nexis preferred

Additional Preferred Experience

• Experience in areas such as:
  • Medical Malpractice
  • Personal Injury
  • Product Liability
  • Employment Law
  • Construction Defect
  • Asbestos Litigation
• Experience preparing subpoenas and working within relevant jurisdictions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate attorney needs
