Experience

Ayanna is an attorney in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Ayanna worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for Prince George’s County Circuit Court for the Honorable Darren S. Johnson.

During law school, Ayanna was the co-founder and co-chair for the Inaugural Howard University School of Law Ambassador’s program, assisting newly admitted students in their transition to law school and providing guidance throughout their time attending law school. Ayanna was a student-attorney in the Movement Lawyering Clinic for two consecutive semesters. While in the Movement Lawyering Clinic, Ayanna successfully provided legal assistance to small business owners, Prince George’s County Court Watch, the family of Mike Brown, and the City of Baltimore.
