Cory Nigrin is an Associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He represents clients in civil litigation matters throughout the District of Columbia and Virginia. His practice includes cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and insurance coverage disputes. He has experience managing matters at every stage of litigation, from investigation and pleadings to discovery, motion practice, trial, and resolution.
Prior to joining the firm, he practiced at a civil litigation firm in Northern Virginia, where he managed a docket of over 50 active matters simultaneously. He handled contested liability claims, deposed adverse parties including public officials, and briefed motions involving discovery, admissibility, and expert exclusion. His work included analyzing insurance policies involving permissive use, exclusions, and UM/UIM stacking. He routinely reviewed complex medical records—such as those involving traumatic brain injuries and spinal conditions with comorbidities—to evaluate causation and exposure.
Cory earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his undergraduate degrees from the University of Miami. He was born and raised in Baltimore, moved to Miami, Florida during college, and now resides in Washington, D.C.
