Experience

Emiko has worked on diverse cases involving legal malpractice, products liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, wrongful death, dram shop actions, human rights actions before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and insurance coverage disputes. Earlier in her career, Emiko clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge John J. McConnell at the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia. Emiko earned a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she served as President of the Women Law Students’ Association, and holds a B.A. in Religious Studies & Linguistics from Skidmore College.
