Erica is a Partner in the firm’s Baltimore office with twenty five years of litigation experience, focusing on professional and environmental liability. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil cases, providing her with a unique perspective on trial strategy and case evaluation.

Erica brings extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, from discovery and dispositive motions through trial and appeal, and has achieved successful outcomes for clients in high-stakes matters in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She has represented major healthcare institutions in litigation arising from pediatric environmental research studies and has defended hospitals, physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals in a wide range of medical malpractice cases, including those involving surgical complications, traumatic brain injuries, delayed diagnoses, infections, strokes, obstetrical and neonatal care, informed consent, and other injury and wrongful death matters. She has also represented medical professionals before state licensing and regulatory agencies.

In addition to her litigation practice, Erica has chaired national litigation conferences in the field of lead litigation and has been recognized by the Homeless Persons Representation Project for her pro bono service with the Veterans’ Benefits Project. She has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 trial lawyers in Maryland.
