Experience

Esma Emanet is an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Manhattan office. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense matters arising from personal injury, premises liability, professional liability and transportation and trucking claims. Esma represents insurers, self-insured entities, and corporate clients in complex matters and is involved in all phases of litigation, including case development, motion practice, and court appearances. She works closely with clients and litigation teams to advance case strategy and manage matters efficiently through the litigation process.

Prior to joining the firm, Esma served as a Legal Intern to the Honorable Margaret A. Chan in the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division. During her internship, she conducted legal research, assisted with summary judgment matters, and gained exposure to judicial procedure and New York labor law claims.
