Experience

Heather is the firm's Managing Partner and is based in the Washington, D.C. office. Heather has over 25 years of experience litigating cases in both state and federal courts. Heather has successfully represented businesses and individuals in class action matters and in disputes involving construction/design defects, construction related accidents, environmental claims, products liability, toxic torts, premises liability, commercial trucking and transportation, automobile claims, intentional torts, and general negligence matters.

Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach LLP, Heather worked for the Commonwealth Attorneys’ Office of Fairfax County, Virginia prosecuting criminal cases. This experience gave her a solid background in trial advocacy, allowing her to try hundreds of bench trials and more than fifty jury trials.
