Experience

Jeff is a Partner based in the Washington, D.C. Office with over 40 years of experience handling complex criminal and civil litigation, having first-chaired hundreds of jury trials to verdict in several State and Federal courts. Jeff has been appointed as Learned Counsel by Federal courts in complex criminal matters and has been qualified as an expert witness in criminal law litigation. Jeff was an adjunct professor at the George Washington University Law School teaching upper-level Criminal Seminar, from 2006 until 2012.  He represents both employees and employers in employment law and contract matters and devotes a significant amount of his practice representing U.S. Foreign Service Officers in criminal and employment matters.

Jeff has been recognized as a Top-Rated Lawyer in Washington, D.C. by Lexis Nexis Martindale-Hubbell. In addition to representing clients in complex state and federal litigation, Jeff serves as outside counsel for successful area small businesses and established local and international non-profit organizations providing advice and guidance on corporate compliance, employment and labor law matters.
