Lisa O'Connor is an Associate in the firm's Rockville, Maryland office. She primarily represents asbestos manufacturers, contractors and suppliers in the defense of toxic tort and product liability claims in personal injury and wrongful death claims. Lisa also represents healthcare providers in medical malpractice matters and manufacturers of other types of products.

Lisa practiced law in New York as a plaintiff's personal injury attorney for more than seventeen years. While practicing in New York, Ms. O’Connor litigated a variety of cases in the areas of medical malpractice, dental malpractice, New York Labor Law, premises liability, product liability and automobile liability. She also handled appeals in the First Department Appellate Division, the Second Department Appellate Division and in the Court of Appeals.

Prior to attending law school, Lisa was an insurance claims representative for fifteen years adjusting medical malpractice, legal malpractice, other professional liability lines, general liability, automobile liability and property damage claims. Lisa handled claims in many jurisdictions including Minnesota, Florida, New York, Ohio, California, Texas and Illinois.
