Mark is a partner in the firm’s Baltimore office and has over 20 years of litigation and trial experience, having tried cases in almost every jurisdiction in Maryland. Mark’s practice is devoted to representing companies of all sizes in a broad range of matters including construction injuries and construction defects, transportation, retail, entertainment/sports, and hospitality.
Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Mark spent almost 15 years with the staff counsel office of an insurance carrier, where he defended his company and its insured customers in actions related to auto accidents, premises liability matters, product liability lawsuits, as well as construction and construction defect claims.

- Defense jury verdict in an admitted liability auto accident case, arguing successfully that the Plaintiff failed to prove causation for the injuries alleged or that Plaintiff was entitled to lost wages or lost business opportunity.
- Defense verdict at an arbitration on behalf of a parking company related to an alleged defect to the gate mechanism that purportedly caused an injury.
- Summary judgement in favor of a property owner and retail establishment in which Plaintiff claimed multiple subsequent surgeries.
- Summary judgment in favor of a restaurant chain in a slip and fall injury.
