Matt Wurgaft is a personal injury attorney licensed to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey. He is a 2011 graduate of the Seton Hall University School of Law and received a bachelor’s degree in Music from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004. Matt clerked for the Honorable Dennis F. Carey, III, P.J.S.C. from 2011 to 2012 and has experience operating his own law firm from 2015 to 2020.

Matt regularly appears in Federal and state courts on a variety of matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and wrongful death. A former plaintiff’s attorney, Matt believes his zealous advocacy and well-rounded experience and training benefits his clients in both litigation and trial, as well as in pre-trial efforts to resolve cases to the satisfaction of his clients. Matt is described as both diligent and compassionate. He resides in Maplewood, New Jersey with his wife, Lauren, and their two daughters, Lillian and Jamie.
