Experience

Michael is a Partner in the firm’s Washington, DC and Rockville offices.  He has been involved in a variety of civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on defending businesses in the retail and hospitality industry.  In addition, Michael has represented individuals, families, and businesses in a variety of complex legal disputes, including personal injury, wrongful death, trucking and transportation, alleged constitutional violations, premises liability, products liability, alleged RICO violations, contract disputes, construction matters, landlord-tenant disputes, employment law, defense of architects & engineers, and professional malpractice.  Michael has tried numerous jury and bench trials to defense verdicts, has obtained the dismissals of several cases through dispositive motions, and has successfully briefed and argued multiple state and federal appeals.

Michael has been recognized as a Super Lawyer- Rising Star in the District of Columbia.
