Experience

Michelle is an Associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Her practice focuses on labor and employment law, contracts, and business litigation. She regularly represents employers in matters involving discrimination, sexual harassment, and contract claims. Michelle also advises business clients on issues related to progressive employee discipline, hiring, termination, training, and regulatory compliance. She is experienced in all aspects of litigation, settlement, and alternative dispute resolution.

Prior to joining the firm, Michelle served as in-house counsel for both federal and local government agencies and has also served clients in private practice. She has practiced before multiple government entities and represented clients in federal court. She also worked as a government consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and is a certified mediator.

Michelle graduated with honors from Dartmouth College and University of Virginia School of Law.  In her free time Michelle enjoys gardening and writing and is a published short-form essayist.
