Experience

Rhoda is a Retired Partner from the firm’s Rockville, Maryland office. Prior to joining the firm, she was a principal at her prior firm, where she practiced for almost thirty years. She began her legal career as a trial attorney with the United States Department of Energy, Economic Regulatory Administration.

Rhoda’s practice focused primarily on insurance coverage. She regularly counseled clients regarding complex insurance coverage issues and, when necessary, represents clients in insurance coverage disputes, litigation, mediation, and settlement negotiations. She handled a multitude of complex insurance issues involving many different types of coverages including Commercial General Liability Policies, Special Multi-Peril Policies, Business and Personal Automobile Policies, Business Owners Property Policies, Homeowner's and Condominium Insurance, Professional Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation and Employers' Liability Policies, Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs, and Owner Controlled Insurance Programs. She is particularly experienced in evaluating complex choice-of-law issues and determining the appropriate forum in which to litigate disputes.

Rhoda also practiced in the areas of appellate and civil litigation, environmental law, personal injury, and construction law.
