Richelle Bautista represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of general liability claims, including tort and general casualty, premises liability, and personal injury. Richelle is experienced in handling municipal law and labor law matters as well as insurance defense and no-fault civil litigation. She litigates matters in various New York state courts, negotiating settlements and managing cases involving multimillion-dollar insurance policies. Richelle holds an M.B.A degree in addition to her law degree, giving her a deeper understanding of her clients’ business regarding operations and finances and providing her with an added appreciation for the non-legal logistics in running a business.

Before joining Kiernan Trebach, Richelle was a claims adjuster for one of the world’s largest insurance and financial services companies, focusing on domestic property and casualty insurance. Previously, she gained valuable experience as an attorney at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker, LLP as well as a boutique New York City litigation firm.
