Experience

Sam is an Associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, focusing his practice on civil defense litigation. Before joining the firm, Sam worked as a Law Clerk at a defense firm in Rockville, Maryland and at the New York State Attorney General office in its litigation bureau.

Sam received his B.A. in Political Science from West Virginia University and his J.D. from George Mason University Law School. During law school, Sam was a member of the Mason Sport and Entertainment Law Association, Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, and Mason Mentors. He competed for the Mason Sport and Entertainment Law Association arbitration and negotiation teams.

Sam was born and raised in Fairdale, West Virginia and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia. He enjoys being active, spending time with friends and family, and walking his Corgi Pancake.
