Food-borne illness claims can be devastating to a business. Kiernan Trebach has significant experience representing companies in the defense of food-related claims and litigation. We understand the importance of brand protection and it is an intergral part of our defense approach to cases involving sensitive matters. We have participated in the development of claims and litigation protocols for cases across the United States and we provide counsel concerning brand protection issues in these types of cases. We work cooperatively with our clients to develop a defense strategy that is sensitive to issues of the harm that can come from unfounded allegations in our viral age.

We have been retained as lead litigation counsel, consulting counsel, and monitoring counsel on food-related matters across the country, as well as in Canada, Puerto Rico, and Argentina. These cases have involved various food borne pathogens including: Salmonella, Hepatitis, Listeria, and E.coli O157:H7, for example.
