Experience

Andrew is Of Counsel based in the firm’s Washington D.C. office where he represents retailers, restaurants, construction companies, housing and commercial developers, and management companies, and commercial trucking and transportation companies in a wide array of complex litigation matters. Andrew litigates matters in state and federal court, and has prevailed on several dispositive motions for his clients in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Andrew has also won matters at the appellate level.

Andrew developed and crafted his briefing and oral advocacy skills at the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he was selected to represent the school at the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Moot in Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong, Andrew and his team earned multiple awards for their oral advocacy and briefing on a complex international manufacturing matter.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew spent three years in New York City litigating complex construction and premises liability cases for a large insurance defense firm.

  • Prevailing on summary judgment in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on complex, low-income housing matter with significant Constitutional issues
  • Prevailing on summary judgment and appeal in Court of Special Appeals on behalf of the Baltimore Ravens in case of first impression in Maryland regarding a fan’s assumption of the risk of being struck by a football at a professional football game
  • Prevailing on summary judgment on behalf of pest control company in a case involving significant termite damage
